Responsibilities:

• Website Development: Collaborate with our design and marketing teams to develop and maintain our website, ensuring a seamless and visually appealing user experience. Implement responsive designs and optimize website performance for various devices and browsers.
• Front-End Development: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks. Translate design mock-ups and wireframes into functional web pages with high attention to detail and adherence to best coding practices.
• Content Management: Update and manage website content, including text, images, videos, and downloadable resources. Ensure content accuracy, relevancy, and consistency throughout the website.
• Website Optimization: Monitor website performance and conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement. Optimize website speed, navigation, and search engine visibility (SEO) to enhance user experience and maximize organic traffic.
• Cross-Browser and Device Testing: Perform thorough testing and debugging across multiple browsers and devices to ensure consistent functionality and compatibility. Identify and address any issues or inconsistencies promptly.
• Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the design, marketing, and content teams to align web development projects with overall organizational goals. Provide input and recommendations on website enhancements, user experience improvements, and new features.
• Maintenance and Security: Perform routine website maintenance tasks, including regular backups, updates, and security checks. Stay up to date with web development trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to ensure optimal performance and security.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a web developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your web development projects.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frameworks (such as React, Angular, or Vue.js)
• Experience with content management systems (CMS) and e-commerce platforms.
• Solid understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and website optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and project management tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Required language(s): English & Mandarin. Mandarin is compulsory as most of our clients are Mandarin speaking.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently manage multiple projects and deadlines.
